Hi everyone! Wow, has it been a week already!? HAPPY LATE MOTHER'S DAY!!!! We went on exchanges this week, I was companions with Sister Call, she's awesome! I learned a lot from watching her contact and make people smile in 2 seconds flat. Haha. This week we had two members come out teaching with us! They are both women, preparing to serve missions in the next year or so :D. They are SO brave and loving!!! I was inspired! Jalisa is 19 and she would rather share the gospel with us than do pretty much anything else that a teenager could be busy doing. We definitely experienced some miracles while we were teaching with her. We had a lesson wit Ralph! :D He is feeling a bit better and we taught him more about the Book of Mormon and when Sister Maico invited him to be baptized he said he had already been baptised. Sister Maico explained the Priesthood and the spirit was soooooooo strong, Ralph got emotional and responded, "I'll be baptized a thousand times if it's what God wants me to do". It was so powerful. I felt so humbled and blessed to be there and to be able to minister to him. Ralph is special, he has such a strong love for the Savior <3. I love him. Moisha's boyfriend also decided to join the lessons with her and her sister and he accepted the invitation to be baptized! :D Our teaching pool is very small, but Heavenly Father's work is still moving along. We just need to work hard, work smart and be obedient. I am so grateful and amazed at the companionship of the Holy Ghost. "The Spirit is the life-blood of missionary work."-Sister Cornish. I am glad and humbled that there are qualifications to having the Holy Ghost, we can't ALWAYS have Him with us, we must be worthy :D While we were at the church cleaning on Saturday, one of the RM's, Jarad, was giving me a hard time and I responded bratty to him and immediately I felt the spirit leave and we were just about to teach mission prep to a sister and as we started the lesson, I was feeling so bad that I no longer had the spirit with me and therefore, could not teach the gospel. So I stopped the lesson and apologized and I felt SO GOOD and HAPPY when the spirit came back!!!! It is so simple to chase Him away, but if we can take a step back and swallow our pride, He will be with us and then we can do this work. No one can endure to the end without the precious gift of the Holy Ghost. I invite you to consider and ask Heavenly Father what you could do to have the spirit with you more. I promise, it WORKS, He WILL ANSWER! :D I love you!!!
