Bonjour!!! A few fun facts,
-A woman named Shernice got baptized on Saturday!!!!! <3 :D
-I am addicted to coconuts
-I'm the only white girl in my branch
-I mashed the head of this HUGE millipede thing last night crawling in our apartment
-I love the members here SO much!
-Sister Maico and I are starting to learn Pateau
-I LOVE being a missionary!!!!
This week was super busy with transfers and the new senior couple coming in, but I am so happy about
it all!!!!:d Sister Timaia is here!!!! And the new Senior couple is ON TOP of it, you'd think they'd done this
a hundred times, they are so awesome! They are Elder and Sister Leavitt, their from Canada. Well, we didn't
have a ton of time to teach this week, but we did have some important lessons :D We have a new
investigator named Pamela and she has been wondering how she can know which church is true and it was
so great to be able to teach her of the Restoration :D. We also got to have another lesson with John, in
which a member translated into Pateau for us, and every time the spirit is just so strong with Him. Joan is
doing well spiritually, we introduced to her what we call, "Joan Pathway to Baptism" and she LOVES it! :D
She has such a strong desire for her family to partake of the gospel also, and isn't that just a wonderful
sign of conversion? Last night we had one of the toughest lessons of my life!
Sister Maico and I were shredded up and told we were liars and that we believed Christ was a liar and all
we were left with was our sincere and unshaking testimonies that we knew from God that we were sharing
was true. Again and again, that's what it came to, that we simply would not deny that God had answered
our honest prayers and the we knew that the Jesus Christ is our Savior and that Joseph Smith is a prophet
of God. I am deeply grateful to have such an experience where I am left with nothing, but my own
testimony of the Gospel and that I get to stand up for my God and His doctrine. My testimony grew last
night. I know that this is the only true and living church upon the face of the whole Earth. "You shall know
them by their fruits". I love my Savior Jesus Christ and my Father in Heaven. They are directing this work
and it is WONDERFUL.
